On 11 October 2009 Bright Young Folk spent an afternoon at Jim Moray’s home studio in Bristol where he is recording his forth solo CD. We recorded a wide-ranging and comprehensive interview which we are now able to bring to you in six-parts.
In part one Jim talks to Bright Young Folk about his much sought-after début EP I am Jim Moray, the troubles of having a stage name and what he thinks of the praise heaped upon his first CD Sweet England.
In part two, published on 19 December 2009, we continue the discussion of his previous work and turn our attention to his second, self-titled, CD and Low Culture. Part three, published on 20 December 2009, is about the folk music and morris dancing revival.
Early next year we will bring you the remaining three parts which are all about his upcoming forth solo CD.
