On 11 October 2009 Bright Young Folk spent an afternoon at Jim Moray’s home studio in Bristol where he is recording his forth solo CD, In Modern History. We recorded a wide-ranging and comprehensive interview which we are now able to bring to you in six parts.
In part five we talk about his upcoming forth solo CD In Modern History. We talk about feel of the record and who plays on it. Also discussed are where ideas come from and the how to stay focused when you’re working on your own.
Parts six, published on 28 February 2010, we talk about how to pick songs and his hopes of making a trio record with James Delarre & Nick Cooke.
