Win tickets to Sam Carter’s London gig - CLOSED

Posted by Christopher Friedenthal on 04 March 2009

Continuing our celebrations of London’s Electroaccoustic Club’s fifth birthday, we’re giving away a pair of tickets to see Sam Carter at London’s The Slaughtered Lamb on 9th March 2009.

You may have seen Sam (along with his heartfelt songs and outstanding guitar playing) supporting Bellowhead recently. He studied guitar with Martin Simpson and has also supported artists such as Rachel Unthank & The Winterset, Lisa Knapp and Spiers & Boden. He is Emerging Artist in Residence at the Southbank Centre.

Sam’s first EP ’Here In The Ground’ is currently available through Proper Distribution. A full length album ’Keepsakes’ will be follow later in the year and even features a guest appearance by Bellowhead’s own Sam Sweeney on fiddle.

All you have to do is post in the comments below. OK, and be able to make it into London on the 9th. In a rare fit of generosity, we’re not even asking you to answer any questions. The winner will be picked out the the now famous Bright Young Folk hat at midnight on 6th March.
