This 2007 CD of Benji Kirkpatrick’s solo work shows what a brilliant songwriter he is becoming and provides evidence of the leaps and bounds he has made from his earlier releases. The five track E.P offer a range of music from the punchy and energetic ’Wallbreaker’, to the more reflective and heart felt ’people’. All are presented in Benji’s own characteristic style and provides an excellent idea of what to expect on his latest 2008 album Boomerang. For those not familiar with his music this provides an excellent introduction and is well worth a listen.
